Rediscover your love of service. Reconnect with the people who helped you find it in the first place. Think of all the things you’ve experienced through the Center for Service and Learning. You’ve served side by side with people who have been your friends ever since. You’ve felt the rewards for your hard work in someone’s sincere thank you and warm smile. You’ve had “aha” moments—insights into our interconnectedness or your calling in life. Maybe you’ve tried something that scared you and then realized it was one of the best decisions you’ve ever made. You’ve affected more lives than you’ll probably ever know.

Alumni spotlight
The Sam H. Jones Scholarship Program helped me realize that philanthropy and service can be a part of my everyday life regardless of what career I am in. You make time for things you care about, and I have the Sam H. Jones Program to thank for putting service and philanthropy as one of my passions.

Volunteer your time
Reconnect and serve with alumni from the Center for Service and Learning. Remember. Reconnect. Revive. Your time with us doesn’t have to end upon graduation! We have many different opportunities to help you stay connected and to reconnect with old friends. Let us know how you want to stay connected to alumni and the Center for Service and Learning.
Opportunities for volunteering include joining a speaker’s bureau, sponsoring a service event, mentoring a scholar, and serving on a scholarship selection committee. Alumni can also recruit volunteers or interns for their organizations. This is a great way to help students engage in the community and develop as civic-minded graduates.
