- Brooke's Place provides support groups, therapy services, and community education to empower children, teens, young adults, and their families to thrive in the midst of grief. Brooke's Place supports grieving young people and their families in the belief that hope for tomorrow begins today. Brooke's Place is a community based not-for-profit organization which provides free grief support to young people ages 3-29yo and their parents/guardians. All individuals learn coping skills to help them manage their grief, lessen the pain of their sadness and help them reconcile the death of their loved ones. Our volunteer support group facilitators provide a safe and supportive environment for young people to grieve the way they need to grieve. They listen to and validate the feelings, thoughts, and words that are shared during support groups and let the participants lead their grief journey.
