- The Friends of Frank Young Park will host the second annual Fall Fest on Saturday, October 14 in collaboration with the Aspire Higher Foundation, DIP IN, and the Northwest Landing Neighborhood Association. This event is a celebration of Frank Young Park’s 101st birthday and invites people who live or have lived in the Near Northwest Landing Neighborhood to join together for a neighborhood reunion. Located at the crossroads of Rader and Udell Streets, the beautiful “pocket park” is a gem within the Indy Parks system and a place for the community to gather. The Fall Fest begins at 2:00 PM and concludes at 6:00 PM. The event provides opportunities for people of all ages to engage in physical activities, fall festivities, and more. These activities include pickleball, cornhole, lacrosse, and skating. Warm apple cider, hot cocoa, and smores will be provided throughout the afternoon. A chili cookout served alongside vegetarian dishes and fall desserts will culminate in this free event. Games, giveaways, and other fall activities will take place throughout the Fall Fest.
