Description:

Help adults learn and achieve their goals! Volunteers work under the direction of a teacher in classes for adults who are learning English or in classes for adults who are preparing to take the high school equivalency examination. The teacher may ask the volunteer to work with a small group of students or to provide general classroom assistance. There are volunteer opportunities in classes throughout the greater Indianapolis area weekdays from 9:30 AM to 1 PM or from 5:30 to 9 PM.
