FIDO (Friends of Indianapolis Dogs Outside) is looking for volunteers to assist with providing dog and cat food to inner-city Indianapolis residents in need of assistance. It's a great group volunteering opportunity. You can volunteer one time or several times. Assist with food mix preparation prior to monthly pantries (sorting, opening, and mixing various types of pet food in large rolling bins). Volunteer day of pantry in our Order Fill area and assisting clients to their vehicles. All are fairly physical activities. Food mix dates: 2nd Sunday of the month from 10-2 or Tuesdays from 10-2. Pantry dates: 1st Saturday of every month, with shifts from 9:30-1, 1-4 or 9:30-4.
