- Description:
- HOPE Mentoring is recruiting volunteers to serve as peer-mentors to incarcerated youth at one of the three Juvenile Correctional Facilities in Indiana. As a mentor, you will be working with these youth to help develop life skills and become employment-ready. In order to be a HOPE mentor, you must be currently enrolled in an Indiana University undergraduate program, be under 25 years old, and be available for two hours a week, for a year-long commitment. The days and times that the students mentor is flexible to the students' schedules. Students can mentor at any of the three state-level juvenile correctional facilities (Pendleton, Logansport, or LaPort). Virtual Mentoring is also an option.
