Indianapolis Animal Care Services is the largest animal shelter in Indiana housing 300-400+ animals in need of care. The shelter offers a range of volunteering opportunities ranging from one-time to weekly volunteering. If interested in volunteering for a limited amount of time, please email their Volunteer Coordinator at lauren.wyatt@indy.gov or contacting her at (317) 292-7324. If interested in volunteering 6-8 hours a month with the cats and/or dogs, please fill out an application at this website.
