- Summary:
- The mission of Coburn Place is to empower victims of interpersonal abuse - including domestic violence - to live as survivors. Coburn Place offers supportive services and housing options to clients, focusing on the overall well-being of the person while addressing barriers to safety, self-sufficiency and permanent housing. Volunteers will sort and organize donations and help clean their warehouse. Volunteers will be joined by a peer leader who will provide assistance leading up to the day and while on site. Volunteers will be asked to follow IU Covid-19 Policies: https://www.iu.edu/covid/campus-info/events.html. Transportation will not be provided for this event.
