Summary:

One of the American Lung Association's signature fundraising events, The Fight For Air Climbs is a stair climb held at the Salesforce Tower in downtown Indianapolis. Climbers join friends, family, co-workers or even fly solo, climbing the 1,054 stairs of the building to the top! Over the last several years, our Fight For Air Climbs have raised more than $53 million nationwide to support the mission of the American Lung Association. There are many opportunities for volunteers on event day. Tasks include, but are not limited to, distributing t-shirts to participants, handing out water and food, water stops in the tower, organizing gear check, helping the timing staff and more! Volunteer duties may include standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects such as water jugs and tables. If you need special accommodation please let us know! Volunteers will receive their assignment at the volunteer briefing. We will answer any questions you may have about your assignment or the event at that time. We have two shifts available that day: Either 6am-10:15am or 9:45a-2pm. You can either work one shift or both! We couldn't do this event without you!
