- Since 1830, the Indiana Historical Society has been Indiana’s Storyteller,™ connecting people to the past by collecting, preserving, and sharing the state’s history. The "Can You Combine?" event is coming up and volunteers are needed! Event description: get your play in for the day at our football agility experience. All ages are welcome to compete in our friendly combine drills scoreboard. We’ll test your: Accuracy—How many throws can you make through our goal posts?; Agility—How nimble are you on the field?; Speed—How quick are you on a short sprint?; Strength—How much weight can you pull?; and Vertical Jump—How high can you go? The Combine is so much more than just sports. See what it’s like to be a sports broadcaster and test your reporting skills. We’ll give you press credentials so you can observe and take notes. Find out what it’s like to sit behind the desk and do a live report about the NFL Combine results of Indianapolis Colts players. Stop by the photo opp to flex your muscles after visiting Indianapolis Colts: The Exhibit. Volunteers are needed to help with with these onsite activities in two shifts: 9:45 a.m.–1:15 p.m. and 1:15 p.m.–4:45 p.m.
