Summary:

Fall Fest is a fun and educational event for Girl Scouts in central Indiana ages K-12 and their families. The theme will be Once Upon a Time and will center around Fall/Halloween. Date is October 17th, 2020 and location is Camp Dellwood (7201 Girl Scout Lane Indianapolis, IN 46214). The event is 5:00 - 9:00 pm. Girl Scouts of Central Indiana builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. This event will allow girls the chance to socialize and have fun in a safe, outdoor setting and will teach topics like Science through fun hand-on activities. There are two volunteer opportunities for this event: Booth Activity Leaders (25 needed): Lead girls in activity booths spread along the trail during Fall Fest. Activities include t-shirt dying, s'mores, pumpkin decorating, and many more. Volunteers will be asked to arrive at 3:30 pm for setup and training and stay until 10:00 pm. Booth volunteers are welcome to dress up, no gore please. Spooky Trail Volunteers (15 needed): Dress up and volunteer as actors in the Fall Fest spooky trail. Please keep in mind attendees will be as young as 6, so we ask volunteers keep their costumes kid-friendly and free of blood and gore. Volunteers will be asked to arrive at 3:30 pm for setup and training and stay until 10:00 pm. This is a 100% outdoor event, rain or shine. Social distancing will be enforced and volunteers and attendees will be asked to wear masks at booths and any other time 6 feet of distance from non-family members is not possible. We ask volunteers come with their own masks. Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes will be provided.
