Summary:

The Virginia Avenue Music Festival (originally Virginia Avenue Folk Fest) was created in 2015 by Mike Angel and Patrick Burtch to bring local musicians, artists, businesses, and the local community together. Each year, the Virginia Avenue Music Fest benefits a hyper-local non-profit directly involved with the Fountain Square and Fletcher Place neighborhoods in Indianapolis, Indiana. The 2019 Virginia Avenue Music Festival benefits Southeast Community Services, an organization that strives to serve, strengthen, and support neighbors of southeast Indianapolis. Join us May 8–12 as we host 95+ bands in 150 performances, provide food and drink to festival-goers, and listen to music panels. The festival is free to attend and family friendly! We have volunteer positions ranging from volunteer check in to green room management to alcohol servers. Find the position that fits you best!
